Looks like the question was already answered but I have not been online since the question was asked of my post. A MSW Modified Sine Wave inverter looks like more like a square wave (or has steps to create the sine wave vs a PSW Pure Sine Wave which looks the same as 120VAC from the utility company. Some electronics do not like the MSW or will have a reduced lifespan. There are a mix of refrigerator models out there and as they get more electronics in them such as the water and ice dispensers there seems to be a consensus that PSW are better for the electronic, I do know that many are using a MSW inverter on the Samsung units for years without issue. The new motor homes I have looked at recently use PSW inverters.
