I remember oohing and aahing when I first saw a residential fridge in a motorhome, but now that I am learning the logistics it takes to keep that running on the road, how are they working out for you ...

I was skeptical before we bought but have been pleasantly surprised how well they do off the battery bank and inverter. Kind of the same feeling I had with the fireplace in the old 5er. Now the RR can join the fireplace as a must have, for us anyway.

We are looking to move to the Class A and I was curious about residential fridges now that they have been around a while. The MH is probably better equipped for long running, as the one we looked at yesterday had 8 coach batteries and a 2 inverters, one dedicated for the fridge, but none the less I do leave mine parked for several days without power. From the responses, I don't think I have much to worry about and I just need to get past my hesitations - much like the fireplace as you say :)
