I think you will find that it will not need 16 amps once it's cooled down. The DC compressors in a Samsung do not need a PSW inverter and both of them (freezer and refer) must be running. My 21 cuft EnergyStar Whirlpool only draws 8 amps when running... less than a 100W light bulb. After a year I estimate the duty cycle at 50 percent or LESS.
I put mine on it's own power system... four 125AH batteries, 1000W PSW inverter, 100Amp charger and a transfer switch. I can go over 36 hours before the batteries get to 50 percent if I turn the ice maker off. Two batteries should get you 24 hours before needing to be charged.
My inverter shuts down at 11.7V... well below the 50 percent point that you should charge your batteries.
