When the heater in the icemaker comes on during the harvest cycle my 8 amps DC jumps to 32 amps so I turn the ice maker off when dry camping. I also added a switch on the power going to the defrost heaters and turn it off when dry camping. Rembering to turn it back on when on shore power has been a problem,:B
Having replaced my plasma TV and halogen lights with LEDs I'm surprised how little generator time I now need when dry camping.. one hour/day instead of 2-3.
