due to the great weather here in the Orlando area today, I took the old girl for a drive, got to about 180 degrees, and it blew a heater hose. after taking of all the old heater hose, I installed just the hose from the radiator to the intake. She is running fine again. I guess twenty year old hose is not the best option lol
