The amount of space needed for clearance would have caused the bottom two bolts, that go through the oil pan to the cover, not to line up if I installed a spacer, I had some aluminum plate that I tried to do a quick can I be cheap test with. the bottom bolts would not fit into the cover when I tried it. I did try smashing the cover with some body hammers, but it bent the mounting service to bad. "its only money" seems to be the attitude I have come to develop in this project.
