Yes, I have reused the original brass side tanks from the original radiator. the old core was a copper small tube four core. Sorry, I don't have pictures of it apart. I will see if I can get a picture of one.
the main core is now a large tube three core one that they use in the Disney Bus Fleet. on of my alarm clients runs ""Complete Radiator and Air"" in Orlando. the are a old school shop that can make just about anything, for a price. The new core is about .25 in thicker and should cool much better. I will post some pictures of the assembled radiator soon as I am slowly assembling the project back together now. The cost for the rebuilt brass and copper unit was $600 out the door.
they have built units for my 1987 AMC concord, 1967 Rambler American wagon with 4 core rated for a 401 High performance motor, a couple of Toyota cars, and a old cop car in the past
