I went out to work on the wiper motors so I can drive it in the rain, after I get the roof fixed!!!!!!! I took apart the wiper arms and greased up all the joints so there is very little friction on the movement of the blades when you operate them by hand, The Motor would not turn the assemble even hooked up direct to the battery. It just got real hot. I thought maybe the brush assembly was worn out are maybe the armature was bad. these are shots of the thing apart it has three brushes and the armature looks ok. the bearings doo look egg shaped. cant get a good picture of the bearings
