The screws have a square drive head on them, They don't seem to be installed at a angle to allow a long bit to access them. Its a good excuse to may a run to the store and find a better solution to the removal problem. This is the tool I found to solve the problem. It cost about 20 dollars for the tool and bits. Its a small ratcheting device that will take a quarter inch drive bit, and work in a tight spot.
Even with this tool when removing the screw, you still have to use a vice grip or plyers for the final couple of turns because the screw is so long.
