I used two methods to remove the rivet head.
One was to use a 1/4" drill bit, to drill the head off.
Second was to use a counter sink in a drill, and drill the head off.
Takes about 5 seconds with either method.
Then I took a punch and hammer, and punched what was left of the rivet, inside.
