It is fairly easy to remove the cover, and install one or two at a later date. I have read that it is a common mod to install a fan to aid in the air flow over the coils. I am thinking about using a couple of computer type pancake fans inside the housing. I can't believe that the existing fan would push much cfm. The existing wires are around a 22 gauge. There seem to bee two pairs of them. I haven't pulled the motor off to see if it is set up with one set for clockwise and the other for counter clock wide rotation.
