Ride Height P-30

I was recently in an accident and had the left side of my front end replaced. Upper A arm and ball joint lower A arm and ball joint inner and outer tie rods and a new tire. In addition the RH lower A arm and b was cracked and replaced along with the ball joint also. $2500 worth of parts and labor. My ride height if I measured from the bumper stop to upper frame has always been a little over 2 1/2 ins since I had the coils springs replaced in 2006. After the repair the left side measures 1 1/2 while the right side measures 2 7/8 ins. I have two questions what would cause this and what is the acceptable difference from side to side. I have a chassis manual but can find no reference to this.

  • Could the bent plate be part of the difference?
Of course the rig was re-aligned after the work was done.

They say you are with in numbers. As for difference it could be weight distribution in the rig. Have you weighed the rig side to side? Are you sitting in driver's seat with no one on other side? Could be normal.
Did they check the bell cranks to insure they were not damaged?
    How does it drive?
The measurement that I took before the accident was with no one in the MH and they were equal from side to side. It rides good except that the steel plate that is part of the rubber bumper on top is bent where the bumper hit the upper frame.
