Yes, Jim. Me too. I have similar Rv to yours. I used 60psi on my previous Winnebago Aspect C when I had it and cleared all the ferry ramps no problem and ride was good. Depends on preferences and vehicles too.

The manufacturer said to measure height unloaded and then load.
After loaded, add air until level.

If you are sagging before you add anything then you have other spring, shock, suspension problems. Those should be fixed.

Many factors dictate the pressure. We run 80 to 100 psi in our '00 because of the E350 springs and the age of the machine - it felt like the tail would drag on the ground if there was a dime in the roadway when we got ours 5ish years ago. Adding the bags gave us reasonable clearance and leveled the rig - this was one of the first additions.

Having bags won't increase your load capacity, but it helps with ride and leveling, and decreases the load on the springs.

Try running them at various pressures - you'll find a sweet spot over time. Try them at 10; try them at 100. Enjoy!

Number 7 should come from the chassis alignment specs. This will give the ride height dimensions

Somewhere around 40 pounds seems to me to be reasonable for my unit. I'm not aware of much of a scientific approach to setting them besides just trying things out until you get the ride you want, especially as how much air you need depends on the stiffness and strength of the other vehicle springs. You can get some rough idea from how the suspension sitting and where the vehicle ride height is as you add air. "Level" in the house part of the RV may not be "level" from the point of view of the chassis springs (even if sitting on level ground).

I'm not sure that #7 from Oldme's link is all that helpful for us since there isn't any practical way to unload an RV's chassis once the RV is built. (The RV itself is the majority of the chassis load.) It seems more useful for installation and operation on cargo carrying trucks and similar vehicles.

I have them on mine and have read that the air bags need to be 0 when leveling, more so with power levelers. Full bags seem to be doing the lifting and pulling on the bags instead of the frame.

On our unit 40lbs or 50lbs did not make much of difference in ride comfort, but at 70lbs the air ride seems to make it ride much smoother. The springs on the E450 seem to be pretty stiff and the air bags help to cushion the ride.
