Riding out a hurricane

I have lived in Fla for all of my life. The best plan will be to keep a close eye on the track and the intensity of the storm. Go ahead and make your plans now what you will do in the event that the storm hits your area. You definitely will not want to ride out the storm in your RV. Find a shelter near by and a hotel that you can use to ride out the storm. Don't wait too long to make the move to a more sturdy shelter as things get kinda crazy when the storm is a day out. Make plans to bring your valuables, meds, food, drinks with you. If you have a pet most shelters will not take pets so you would need to find a pet friendly hotel/motel to stay during the storm. Don't forget to bring food and water for your pet. Hopefully the storm will not impact us too much. I am located near Tampa on the west coast.
