There is another post here about RV parks who will not take coaches over 10 years old.I would like to see pictures of the rigs these parks are excluding, here is mine (almost 20 years old)

Ours (see sig) is over 10 years old.We like it that way, simply because here in Montana that means we can put PERMANENT registration on it. We never have to renew as long as we own it.We took a trip from here to Chattanooga and back in it, and never once did any campground manager ask how old our rig was.The question was never asked in our trips through Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Utah, Montana, or Nevada, either.IIRC, we have NEVER been asked that question.

Your's only looks 8 years old to me....;)

So what park excluded you?That would be useful info.

In most cases, this rule is on the telephone, just for keeping out the real trash and most will ask you to send a pic ahead of time. Naturally driving in unexpectedly, will usually get you in anyway if there are spaces available. Not to mention that you can always fudge it a year or two, assuming that you even want to stay in one of these over priced parks to begin with.

My opinion is that is just snobbish. There are perfectly fine rigs and perfectly fine people in RV's that are well more than 10 years old. Not everybody has nor wants to put a lot of money into a coach. Some folks go on 1 to 2 trips a year tops.

My Toyota class c is well over 10 years, but the Bounder we have is only 7 years. If I went to a place that excluded older coaches, I would leave and tell them why. It's ridiculous in my opinion. However it's their place - their rules... But my free choice to not trade with them.

Lake Havasu City, AZ. has a high end RV Resort like this! It's to stop junk looking RV's from coming and staying in there park. I was told by the managers that the RV community votes you in or out if your coach is over 10 years old. What's strange too me is this high end RV Park is right next door to the garbage dump?

I've heard of the 20 year rule in the general RVing arena. A 10 year rule would most likely come from the Hi End Resorts. We have a 1988 Gulfstream Class A and spent eight of the last ten years Full timing and traveling. Our rig is always neat and clean inside and out. Most regular RV parks have a "Pride of ownership provision" for just such rigs. We've traveled everywhere except for the North East and haven't had a problem. First impressions go a long way.

My uncle told one of those parks his trailer was a 2006. It's a 1978. But it's an Airstream. :)

When the RV Park/Resort asks me how old my 5th wheel is, I ask them the age of their facility. Have fun with it. :-)
My 5th wheel and truck both turn ten in January. So, welcome me to the club.

I was not excluded, I came across the post on here on RV.net and wondered how many others were driving older rigs that would fit that rule.
