AAA consist of 54 franchises and true, NONE are required by their affiliation to honor the others contract. AAA is not the RVers nationwide friend.

Not sure if it's true but I had heard that AAA's are franchised and do not neccesarily have to honor your coverage in a particular area. Conversly Coachnet will go out of there area if they have to. Don't ask me how I know. GS won't do that either. But if a cochnet in area service can't be found they will look through the phonebook til they get someone to help you and pay them up front. true story. It happened to me. Went the extra mile. AAA or GS won't do that.

CoachNet! We have had coachnet for many years and have been very pleased with their service.

They will provide technical service and talk you through a repair if you desire. The will also dispatch a mechanic if you feel that is the best option. They will also send an appropriate tow vehicle and if that requires a huge flat bed wrecker they do it. They will call ahead and make an appointment with the appropriate facility in the direction of your travel regardless of the distance. They also call to confirm that the repair and tow have been successfully completed.

Have had the benefits of their service several times, always satisfied.

I have frequently called their technical people with questions when making repairs or trying to diagnose a problem. Lot of service for $109 per year.

I don't understand about nowhere to complain. These forums would be the place.

Complaining here won't get them to write a check. Heard crickets out front waiting for the call. They didn't care when I called and told them, doubt they care now. Maybe an off day or a vendor issue, but in the end my wallet is still lighter.

If you check enough you will find horror stories for just about any service. That said, my vote is for Coach-Net. We've had their service for many years. Used them a couple of times for an older class C and once for our car with a flat tire. Service couldn't have been better, a true sign and drive policy.

I don't know where you got that idea, as there are as many if not more Coach Net members here than GS and if the service was as bad, you would hear it loud and clear.....Go to the tow truck 411 forum and read their comments about the two services, they prefer Coach Net, hands down.

X3 coach net. Got stuck in the mud leaving a campground and they had the big tow truck there in less than 30 min. No charge called back to make sure everything was ok. Very impressed!

AAA was HORRIBLE for my brother who had a trailer with a flat tire and it took them many hours(overnight) to get to him and fix the flat. He was stuck on side of road in an area of construction so dangerous but they did not come til next morning as I understand it. HORRIBLE. Coach-Net or Good Sam. I also heard if you have Progressive Insurance, they have a very reasonably priced roadside assistance program but I would not take my word for it, check with them.

CoachNet for me. Used them for 8 years and needed their help twice. Both times I was very pleased with their responsiveness. No extra charges either. I especially like that I can talk with an RV Technician within a few minutes that has my best interest at heart - and is not trying to sell me anything!
