Good Sam versus coach net.
Good Sam has it's detractors on these pages.
Remember that Good Sam has a place for you to vent about GSRA but coachnet has no such place to vent and it is doubtful someone would come here to beachh about coachnet.
Your automobile policy may not give you the coverage you need. for example some auto policies will not cover off a PAVED road. Good Sam will. If you tow a trailer and the truck breaks down some auto policies will not pay to have the trailer towed to a campground.
Auto insurance as roadside assistance is not a great plan.
I see you bought a diesel pusher. Coachnet and Good Sam will dispatch a mechanic to help you roadside. SOme policies will not.
I have had good service from Good Sam roadside.
2 caveats
If you get antsie sitting by the side of the road for an hour or two waiting for someone to come a roadside assistance policy may not be for you. SOmetimes you will be broke down close to a business that COULD provide the service but the roadside service will be provided by someone an hour away. It is a matter of who the road side service has a contract with.
MAKE SURE YOU READ THE CONTRACT. Understand what you are buying. Seems to me most dissatisfied people have an unrealistic expectation of what they purchased and do nor know what is in the contract.
