Bruce - The most likely cause of the fire was a fuel line coming loose after a Ford dealership changed the fuel filter. But there was no evidence left to confirm that theory. We were driving 55mph when the fire broke out. We were able to get stopped and safely bail out (including our doggie) before we were injured. We did breathe in some smoke before getting stopped, but there were no lasting effects.
