  • I have one question about this setup, although it has some innovations: The EFOY system uses M10 cartridges. For 10 liters of methanol, that is 156 bucks (assuming current exchange rates) for 222 or so hours of run time with 1200 watts coming out. Finding replacement cartridges is tough, as I know no place in the US that has them. Hopefully RT dealers can stock them.

    Citation here.

My guess is that there is a second alternator installed dedicated to supplying the coach.

Why is propane free an advantage. I love my propane. It gives me flexibility, instant heat, is great for cooking, is cheap, etc.?

A single fuel source (diesel) would be the advantage assuming one didn't order the optional Efoy fuel cell which uses methanol.

I like propane too. Some folks don't like it though.

Assuming 2 house batteries as being standard then it is maybe 360 lbs extra. Subtract the 150 lb Onan and you're down to 210 lbs. Then subtract the propane system, tank and propane.......... It might not be that much difference.

I can only imagine the MSRP--or maybe I can't, but I suspect is must be significantly in excess of $100,000. Thoughts?

    Thanks.
  • It'll have eight Deep Cycle AGM batteries, or two deep cycle lithium ion batteries according to Jim Hammill from Roadtrek.
