Roadtrek what is the make of the DVD in the rear ?

Can't find the make and model of the rear DVD player on my Roadtrek 210 Popular , 2012

  • We have a 2011 RS Adventurous- the DVD unit may be the same. I asked Roadtrek what I have and for some information. Here is Roadtreks reply:

"The DVD player is a home theater unit that will play DVDs, CDs, and MP3s and has a built in AM/FM radio. It is an Electrobrand model STS 2891-1. The trick is in viewing the display panel on the DVD player. It is positioned in such a way that it does not appear to be showing anything if viewed from in front of the player. You have to be above the display a bit in order to read it.
The additional functions do not show on the TV screen."

I moved my unit to the lower shelf, and I could see the display. I really don't care for it or the Eclipse front system. Neither is intuitive. It seems the 2013 Roadtreks have different systems- I'll check one out when I have a chance.

  • I think the newest ones have changed, but up to a year ago or so, it was made by Magnavox and used by quite a few RV manufacturers.
  • I had the same question with my used 2010 Popular. There was no manufacturer seal on the unit itself and the RT packet contained no manual for the DVD player.

I asked the same question on the Yahoo RT-owners group and, if I recall, the unit is made specifically for RT because the size is customized for that cabinet. Sorry - that's all I remember. You might get more response from the yahoo group:
