Always so sad to see someone lose the battle against a form of mental illness. Also, a reminder that life as the "rich and famous" isn't always happy and isn't what most of us regular people think it is.
Robin was so talented and such a great comedian while on stage. From what I remember of watching him in interviews and off-state stuff I'm not surprised to learn he battled with some depression. He never seemed comfortable in his skin and would never really "open up". It seemed he always had to be doing some character or bit.
It's so sad and I really hope the people close to him can find some peace soon.
