A good quality paste wax, about twice per year.
I don't polish it, just get it on there.

I have used Protect All rubber roof cleaner and Protect All rubber roof protector for years.

I have a fiberglass roof with the same problem, white streaks after washing the roof. I noticed the Protect All product is for rubber roofs. Is this also used for fiberglass roofs?

I've used ZEP high traffic floor polish from Home Depot for years. Stops streaks..needs to be re-applied once a year (when I wash my roof). Cheap and simple. Just seals the white down for a year. Worked for me on both rubber and fiberglass roofs. Certainly won't hurt either kind.

Mop 'n Glow. Just don't let it run down the sides. Very difficult to get off.

I just use a mop. bucket, water, spic&span and a garden hose to rinse after I mop twice a year (Spring/fall)

Clean it, go to the dollar store get a foam pad mop for a dollar. get some Protactall you can use it on any thing. Spray part of the roof with Protect- all, wipe it on with the mop don't worry about wiping it off. Best part you don't have to get down on your knees to do it.

That sounds like white oxidation from the paint on the fiberglass. We are starting to have that problem too. We plan on getting an oxidation remover and then past wax to seal after cleaning the oxidation off.

Normally fiber Glass has gel-coat, not paint. gel-coat casts off a white powder too, when it oxidizes
