Roof repair in South or North Carolina

Hi All,
I have a 2005 Fleetwood Pace Arrow in very good condition...
except for a leak that has resulted in some de-lamination of a
small (about 2 feet x 3 feet) in the ceiling and roof. I have had
a technician look at it and he was unable to find a leak. He suggested
a pressure test for the leak or, ideally replace all the Dicor which
Is old and layered. Neither of these would fix the delaminated part
of the roof.

Fleetwood suggests I take it to an RV Dealer to assess
any damage and options for repair of the roof and ceiling. Does
this group have any
recommendations as to who could do a good job of this? Anywhere in
South/North Carolina or Virginia.
I appreciate any suggestions
Bob
  • I second the recommendation of using Tom Johnson. They do excellent work.

    Jerry Minchey
  • Depends on where you are. IF near Ashville. I'd use Tom Johnson in Marion. Closer to charlotte. Tom Johnson Charlotte. Or Try Foothills RV in Kings Mountain. ) 704-600-5401
  • Had the right front side replaced on my previous Holiday Rambler right outside of Johnson City Tenn. Was expensive ($6200) but insurance paid for the majority of it ($250.00 Deductible). Seemed high to me, but the work was good. Worked out to be $100.00 square foot.

A lot of folks near me like Twin-Lakes RV in Seneca (I think, Westminister if I'm wrong) this is the western tip of SC.. They started as an auto body shop and expanded into RV.. they still do the odd auto.. Great for front/rear/sides, but do not know how well they do with roof, suspect every bit as good.
  • If it's necessary to replace the roof, it sounds like this company in Greenville, SC does the complete job. I have never done business with them, just noticed the ad...

  • Try Camping Connection at (843) 238-3329 in Myrtle Beach SC.

They are very good and my go to service provider.
