One more comment.. I have, over the years have 3.2 Different types of A/C's on this unit.
My Main Summer Service Person told me "Coleman's SUCK" everyone else BLOWS.
By that she meant a COLEMAN A/C unit sucks air IN via the condenser coil and exhausts it out the sides,, So when it comes time to clean you remove the outer shroud (4 bolts and lift it off) and then you peal the cotton wood cotton off the OUTSIDE of the condenser. Replace Shroud, 4 bolts and head ground side.
The others BLOW. Meaning they blow air out via the condenser
So .. Carrier Air V. Remove outer shroud (lots of phillips screws) and lift off
Remove INNER cover (more screws) and lift off
REMOVE FAN so you have room to work
Clean.. And re-assemble.. Tons more work
Advent air: The Inner Cover is taped and tabbed so you have to cut tape and unbend the tabs.. Of course you can only unbend/bend those tabs SO MANY TIMES.
the .2... The china bomb fan on the Advent Went BOOM!
.. I replaced it with a Coleman fan. now it sucks like a Coleman. Way easier to clean. Just manyu screws and the outer shroud.
