Roof Vent Covers

They are very common. Ours has the Maxx Air on all three vents. The vents do not open 100%....probably closer to 80% or so but good enough.

I will like them a lot better when they are painted to match the coach. The glaring white is very ugly.

Added two MaxxAir covers in black. They work well, especially when it rains and we want to use the Fantastic Fans. They do not open quite 100%.

We would have liked to add a third cover in the rear bath (where it's needed the most!) but the coach manfacturer put vent pipes in the way and there isn't enough room. You might want to check to make sure you have unobstructed space for your covers.

Our Maxx Air vent covers work very well even in the extreme storms that we get in Florida. During some of our intense storms the rain is coming sideways and we have yet to get any water inside the coach. I believe Adventure RV has them on sale for around $22 each.

We use Camco Areo-flo roof vents. $30.00 on Amazon. I have the blacked out ones to keep the light out. Easy to install, easy to open and clean and are a lower profile but still has good air movement. Our vents are opened year round, except when A/C is on, and no water intrusion even while towing.

All our vents (five) have Maxx-Air covers. Through any storms they have been great. The vent under the cover opens about 80%. If you're comfortable getting on the roof, they are easy to install.

Search this Forum for `Maxxair' and read on. We've had them since day one and wouldn't be without them, or a slide cover.

X2, I love them, we only close the vents if we use the air now. JMO

I had them installed over the telephone when I was ordering my second RV. Wouldnt have a coach that didnt have them

We have the electric vent covers and it's all the way open or all the way closed. What happens to the vent lid when the motor try's to open the lid all the way and can't because it hits these covers?
