I replace the Bilsteins shocks with Monroe RV shocks and it was better but not by a lot, I also have 4 air bags and it helps some but still rides ruff, people say it cant be fix to ride smooth and I say they are wrong, I know it can be done just wished I had a garage and the expertize to get it done but I don't.
My son is a master mechanic at the largest Ford dealer in the state. He is experimenting with my coach to find a reasonable priced solution.
Once we are there, I will share it with you.
Thanks would like to know the out come, many on here say it is what it is but I say it can be made to ride like a Cadillac if the right equipment and the know how to get it done.
I am fully with you!
A few years ago somebody here on this forum was on the quest to achieve this ride, part of his modifications was the Kelderman system. As far as I can remember, he achieved a ride comparable to the air ride of diesel pushers.
Improving the ride is no magic, but detailed modifications, one at a time, and there is also no magic to the ride quality of diesel pushers. The owners pay quite a high price for this ride! I try to achieve a similar ride quality for a far lower price, and without the high costs to maintain a diesel engine that is tucked away in an area of the coach that is prone to cause overheating problems.
I own a F350 with an diesel engine and know how much air that bast needs!
