I think Fiberglass Roof's are a big plus.
Fiberglass roofs STILL require SEAL maintenance, the edges and accessories on roof still have seals.
But :---
I have seen, many rubber roof's with a lot of use, develop tears, the rubber roofs, blacken, mildew quicker, cause more of a mess down the sides, harder to keep clean. I have a good friend, that has gone through HECK, with a rubber roof, that catches air underneath when travleing, ballooning up and has had consistant on-going warranty issues, from NEW to 2 years of use. Rubber roofs, depending on the weather, will expand & contract at a much more noticeable rate, develop bubbles, slackness, etc.
In my opinion, Rubber Roofs take a lot more care & maintenance, and longevity is suspect.
**Some reports of fiberglass roofs, cracking near edges** have circulated, internet.
I walk on my Sunseeker, careful around edges, keep it clean, inspect routinely, and keep an eye on seals. NO signs of cracks.
Seems a lot better that my previous rubber roof'ed rig.
Its plus, but still inspect seals and signs of water intrustion on used rigs. Also have a plan to maintenance a fiber-glass roof, also, just does not have to be as much as a rubber-roof.
