Rubber Spray Sealant

I have two leaks in my my roof vents I was thinking of using the rubber spray sealant for the time being until after our trip anyone ever use this product I am wondering how well it works.
Thanks
  • Good Idea, use Eternabond. Flexseal might work as undercoating for the chassis but it won't stop a water leak.

Are you talking about something like Flexseal???? Are you kidding????

Yes like flexseal but after the responses I will not be using the spray stuff at all I think I will go with eternabond
  • It's a short term fix at best and UV is going to eat that junk up fast. You don't wan't to make half-arsed repairs to a roof.
  • Do not use the spray rubber sealant as you'll never get it off to caulk it right.
Find some self leveling dicor caulk and do it right the first time as it won't take any longer than the spray rubber.
  • No the vents are not cracked the seals around them are
  • YOu mean the vent 'covers' are cracked?
If you do, I would probably just try tape until I could get new covers.
