Running AC while parked in Carport?

My motorhome is stored in a covered carport. There's about 20" or so between the roof and the AC units. The sides and ends of the carport are open. Is there any problems with running the AC's while parked in the carport? Thanks
Brian

  • You have no problem. I run my AC in a garage with only the garage door open and the only problem is that it makes the garage hot.
  • It will be running on generator power..and no problem with ventilation for the generator either, it's totally open in that area.
  • As long as the VOLTAGE INSIDE the RV with the A/C running is at least 110 VAC, no problem. If under that voltage, your A/C is at risk.
