Before you do your driveway life test do a few things...
1) Google for 'The 12V Side of Life' and read those few short but excellent web pages.
2) Get a ciggie lighter plug-in DC volt meter (about $15) so you can check the battery voltage during the test. Remember the 50% rule.
3) Check your batteries 'water' levels, if they're not AGM's.
4) Clean the connections at the battery posts.
This'll give you the best test results possible, and the result can be maintained with a bit of effort.
