Running hot
It run hot 210 to 240 I put a new thermostat in . Both the electric and the motor fan works. its a 1992 winnebago Brave 30ft with a 454. Thank Jim

I think you have a water circulation problem rather than a fan clutch problem.
I have been in truck and auto repair for over 40 years and have never experienced a Fan clutch that had to "Balance out?" or run 50 miles before working correctly

I'll bet that you never bothered to read the stamp on the clutch that said to "store" the clutch face up when on the shelf either. Perhaps, just perhaps, if it is not stored properly it takes awhile for the silicone fluid to flow properly.
