My Sahara has a 12VDC all electric dash AC. It has a condenser, compressor and fan behind the front axle and an evaporator in the heater box. No pipes running back to a compressor or condenser in the back, no hot air being injected into the radiator. It's like a window AC in 2 pieces. So far, in the muggy warm weather it's managed to keep up, but with the condenser under the front of the bus, I'm sure it will get taken out by a piece of tire or a possum at some point.
no kidding, never seen such a thing(system) interesting for sure
I guess no different concept than the norcold 12 V basement freezers
