There are several antennas.. Some are "Exotic" and frankly over priced.
Windgard Sensar II or III (Old fashion "Batwing") are good, add the wingman UHF director array and you now have one of the 3 BEST on the market II is one, III is another and IV which comes WITH the Wingman is the 3rd) No better antenna made for RV.
Indoors. You have the chose of the standard wall plate or box of many buttons
Or a SENSAR PRO... and again,, that's the way to go.
My Set up is a batwing, Wingman, Sensar Pro.
From there on it gets.. a bit strange, but well,.. I do things which advertisers say I can't do less I pay for their overpriced junk.
Some others: The JACK from King Controls, in both lab testing and side by side, not as good
The Jack Omin, and the Winegard RoadStar (Flying saucer style) Even worse
Winegard Rayzar... I am not sold on this one.... I have not tried it but frankly I do not think it will outperform my Batwing (Sensar)
One issue with the "Automatic" antennas is this. They come in two types.. One is rare.
The rare one communicates with the Receiver (TV) and Receivers that can do that are reare (It uses a modular phone type cable) to maximize the signal for the channel selected.. This would be good but the one and only model I know is not that powerful.
Others simply pick the strongest signal and maximize it.. Sounds good since usually transmitters are "Grouped" like bananas on a bunch. but one place I park,,, For best results,,,, I peak, then two stops Clockwise for the best results.. Or peak on one of the weaker signals.. So I like manual aiming.
