Disagree.
It shure didn't help.
The truck was doing 66 mph when he got passed by the rv. I'm no expert but at the rate he passed the truck my guess he was traveling in the high 70s.
Simple to see. Would he have lost control at 20MPH? 30? 40? 50? 60?
Obviously excessive speed caused him to lose control. It is just unclear how much speed it took to exceed this drivers ability to cope with a flat tire. Front blow outs happen and very very few end up like this. This particular driver could not handle it even if he was going less than the posted speed limit. - Sully2ExplorerEterna bond can fix that...:B

The video only showed the median blocked. Not the Eastbound, and especially not the Westbound lanes of the Interstate highway were blocked.
I guess you saw the pic that Mike Brez posted of the coach laying on it's side blocking the lanes.
There were no lane(s) blockage on the video. Where were the lane(s) blockage according to your source and LINK?? Where is your link(s)?
Calm down Joe. I posted the picture MM was referring to a few pages back. Here is the picture and link hope this is good enough for ya.
And the news story
Louisiana State Police troopers were dispatched to an overturned motor home on Interstate 10 on Monday.
The accident happened east of US 61 in Ascension Parish. Crash scene investigators said the motor home was Westboundon Interstate 10 in the left lane when it blew out a tire and veered into the median, striking the cable barriers.
The vehicle overturned and slid on its side across both Eastboundlanes.

Hi Joe,
I didn't have the link but I just mentioned that I saw it from when the original story broke.
Mike Brez found it as that is the motorhome and truck that had the accident. The video was not positioned to catch the whole scene.
Safe travels,

- slickest1ExplorerTo me it looks like he was on cruise and by time he reacted it was gone. It didn't appear to slow down until he hit the barrier.
