  • Here in northern VA near Washington DC area some of the RV dealerships also offer RV storage. I am currently paying 115 mo for outside storage no hookups. They have a dump station, the place is gated and has surveillance. The air pump cost $.50, cheep by local standards, and runs a long time. The will do some maintenance, washing and waxing. The cost for propane is reasonable.
It is a hour drive from my home. I could have got a little closer but by parking in the next county I dodge the Personal Property Tax (PPT). That county (Prince William) does not charge PPT on RVs).
  • Have you tried the campgrounds? We have stored a TT at both Lakewood and Ocean Lakes. Not sure if a motorhome would be any different, but it cost in the $50/month range. That included them pulling it out and putting it back in after use. Call them to see if they can work with motorhomes as well. Might be a thing where they meet you at the storage yard or something...

We stored it at a local storage place for around $50 up here where we are at.
  • Can't help you with Myrtle Beach, because I left 45 years ago and it has changed. I can help with "reasonable" maybe. Storage space costs will be tied to land values.

Out here on the plains, the right to look for a parking spot on the grass inside a fence runs about $40 a month, and I pay $62 to put mine under an open shed inside a fence. A garage spot in the same area is about $100 a month, no heat, no electricity.

If I want a similar rural spot within 15-20 miles of a city of 500,000 people where suburbs are starting to reach 30 miles out, I can expect to pay $100-150 a month for a spot on the grass inside a fence, at least $250 for space inside a building. I've not priced garage space in the city center.

Myrtle Beach is so heavily developed now, I would not expect to find any storage yards east of the Intracoastal Waterway between Little River and Murrell's Inlet, maybe even beyond Pawley's Island. I'd look inland, on the road from Little River to Conway, or maybe around Socastee. I would still not expect storage yards to be cheap.
