You can have it both ways. When we tow our Toy Hauler in CA, speed limit is 55. Yes, people do drive with trailers faster, but we will see them pulled over by the CHP. At 55 or so, we get 16.7 towing at 55. That's nice. We enjoy the trip as much as the destination. Now with my Boat, twin diesels WOT is 134 gallons per engine per hour. But slow to 9-11 knots, it drops to 34 gallons per engine per hour. I had a sign in my old Speed shop-"Speed costs money, now how fast do you want to go"
