It might not be just the new models.
In our travels quite a few years back, we stopped for a meal & couldnt get out.
At that time in life, I didnt trust those RV doors, so when on the road would lock the door for safety. Pulled into a Cracker Barrel & door wouldnt unlock so we could get out.
Had to take the door handle apart on the inside just to get the door open, or crawl out a window, which was not an option for wife or me.
Talk about an uneasy feeling, riding down the road with a bungy strap holding the door closed just to complete our trip was not good.
Once home, I took the door handle apart & the slide piece inside that locks & unlocks the door, had broken & the lock couldnt be released.
So those handle pieces messing up not just started today & I would guess theres probably others gone through the same thing.
