Most new rv drivers will do fine on major highways and freeways. The trouble comes when they try to drive in city, access fuel, navigate tight right hand turns, and older rv parks. Arrange time in advance with the dealer for some basic training every dealer I bought a rig from have always provided a in and out walk through to explain all the systems. If they don't offer it insist. Then swing by a goodwill or evil mart and pick up some plastic chairs or garbage cans. Find a church school or other large vacant lot set out your stuff and practice. Your chairs or cans can become gas pumps curbs walls parked cars etc. You wil learn what the rig can and can't do. Turning space and more. Most important your front wheels are underneath you so tight turns start later.
This is how I got the war dept. To have the confidence to take the wheel.
Take your time and never go in to anyplace without an exit strategy.
Have fun be careful.
