Electricity flows the same, whether it be at a stix n brix home or your RV.....30 amp, 1 hot leg, a neutral and a ground...50 amp, two hot legs, a neutral and a ground...the use of meters are helpful most of the time..Inverter/Converter, uses 12V supply and bumps it up to 120V, battery switch simply turns off the battery supply to almost everything in the coach. Some parasitic draw remains for radio clocks, LP detector, CO protector etc. The dash battery switch momentarily connects your house batteries and your coach batteries in case they are weak and won't start the coach....Click the link below for some excellent information on RV Electrical systems.....Dennis
