The RV bay on my garage is 48'(D) X 15'(W) X 15'(H) and I have an additional 32'(W) X 22'(D) X 13.5'(H) workshop on one side. At 15' the RV bay is wide enough to open all four slides and the basement compartment doors. If the plan is to house the RV only with no side garage, then I would recommend going with a 20' width (min). Good luck.
