RV park in Las Vegas

I am looking for a safe RV park near Freemont St, that is safe to walk to Freemont St. at night. Also what is the best way to get from Freemont St to the Strip without driving the RV...we will not have a toad.
  • The closet park to Freemont street is Hitchen Post. Kinda a parking lot but safe and clean. You can get a bus from there to the strip or Freemont. Circus Circus is a KOA and definitely a parking lot, but the strip is right out front and you can hop a bus to Freemont.
  • The RV park at Circus Circus is just off the strip, economical, and friendly. We Ubered from there.
  • If I have the RV I stay at Sam's Town Casino RV park. I believe it is currently managed by KOA.
Sam's has a bus that goes to the strip or downtown Fremont street. Although it does not run real late so if you stay out late with the die hards and crazies I take a cab back. I have also used the city bus to get to the strip from downtown. Seemed easy enough for me.

I agree, don't move the RV until ready to leave town. The hotel concierge can also help with transportation.
  • We haven't been to Lost Wages since we sold out of our timeshare there. But there are a number of RVparks along the strip. The two at the south end were both too ritzi for us, but others are real. All those I saw were parking lots with service posts and maybe a little more. I looked at both CircusCircus and Main Street RV. Then I know that there are some farther north.

  • In 2013 I remember riding that bus and then it was free or cost a dollar. Very convenient.

  • Can't tell you about a park, but you can get to the Strip on the Strip Bus that runs from the downtown station out to the end of the strip and back, etc.
