RV parks with cable connection

I noticed that my RV has an outside plug for a cable connection. Are there many campgrounds that offer cable? Just wondered.

I prefer the Natl BROADCAST CLEAR channels but sometimes the wife wants to see her USA and TNT shows. CNN and WX CHannel are also neat to get over the cable connection...

The digital OTA has a full line of local stations including local RADAR and old movies and old TV series stations... ALL FREE to the public - Hard to beat that...

  • For the last month we stayed only in state parks on the gulf shore and the 3 we stayed in all had good cable and 2 had good WIFI. We have found most parks have cable but some don't have many stations and some don't have very good reception.
  • Our experience on the east coast is that most private RV parks offer some sort of cable, but state and federal parks do not. We mostly use DishTV anyhow because we are often places were over the air is unreliable, and then we know we have the channels we want .....
  • Depends on availability, too. Believe it or not, most of the landmass of the United States has no cable service, and a good chunk of that landmass involves so-called tourist areas.

  • many do.The last time we used the campground cable (3 weeks ago) the channel selection wasn't as good as our OTA antenna and many of the channels were not in HD
