If it did, you might be able to gusset it. Again not a job for the faint hearted or DYI'er.
X2. A lot of these old gas tag axle units were built WAY too long, and were beginning to sag from day one. I have a 34' Winny with a 12' slide, and it had a obvious, yet slight, sag on the slide side, with very little frame extension out back. I would have a professional welder take a look and see of it needs repairs, or reinforcement, to the frame extension. If lifting up on the bumper solves the issue, as J&J stated, you probably have a crack,broken weld, or other failure on the curb side frame rail, and/or rail extension.
