RV Registry

We are both now in our 80's and have finally decided it's time to give up the MH. It was a difficult decision but the right one for us. Now comes the question; Has anyone used a service called "RV Registry" to buy/sell a motorhome, if so in a few words how would you rate them.

Thanks, and good luck to all.
  • All they are interested in is getting the listing for a fee. They could care less if the unit sells they have their money.
  • I used them a few years ago. A big waste of money. They never got my ad correct. Even though they were to keep it posted until it was sold it was dropped within two months with no explanation.

I made the mistake of using them and cannot remember even getting a single bite from it. They seem to be better at getting listing than selling them.
  • Greg, I can't help you with RV Registry! I just want to wish you the best of luck in the future. I know that you have been RVing for nearly 50 years and this is a very hard decision! I currently have major health problems and, I'm dreading the day that I have to make the decision that you did. It's coming, my body will let me know! Happy Trails, John
  • Have you considered RV Online seems like a pretty large inventory for sale and notice quite a few sold.
  • On RV Trader or Craigslist one can contact the seller directly without having to register and contact the website. When I was shopping around some time ago I responded to a RV Registry ad and they seemed to hound me after they got my contact information. I much prefer Craigslist or RV Trader. I've bought/sold RVs on both.

  • They've had a number of complaints filed against them with the Better Business Bureau. I listed a travel trailer on RVTrader and Craigslist and couldn't get RV Registry to quit calling me trying to get me to list it with them (for a nice fee, of course).
