RV Safety Course

I was filling out a form to get a RV insurance quote from Good Sam and one of the questions was if I had taken a RV safety course. I was wondering if any one had taken a course and where. I did some research online and found out the used to be offered at Good Sam rallies but are no longer offered.
  • Lazy days does it. You can stay at their CG and take it. You have to schedule the camping around the safety course not the course around the camping dates.

I understand Lazy Days rv in Tampa offers driving classes for mtorhomes, or TT's.
Not sure if other dealers offer this.
My girlfriend should/wants to learn to drive with our TT on the back.
Bet it would be a lot less stressful for her to learn from anyone other than me. :)

AMEN to that. My wife doesn't drive our A. She wants to learn.

  • Never heard of one. A great idea. Newbies have a few things to learn and most do it through trial and error. A class would be a better safer way. So many folks just do not know how to back up or park. Often folks learn the hard way about why a black tank should be closed until dumped etc,.
