Thanks to all. I finally got the reset at a local shop. They did a good job, and didn't even break the glass doing it.
BTW, I opened this to find a shop, not to complain about insurance or online websites for glass repair. The whole insurance thing came about because the people on the phone lines ONLY wanted to talk about filing an insurance claim and did not want to give me a shop to call for the repair. I became uneasy when they the whole thing always blew up into a windshield replacement claim, no matter how carefully I explained that I just wanted a leak repair!
