S-T-P is a worthwhile modification.
Your OEM component is a Damper. By Damper I mean it works like a shock absorber and resists bumps that try to knock you off track. It does not help your steering stay centered.
S-T-P is a Damper surrounded by coil springs that apply 140 pounds of force toward Center from Left and Right. "140" is the model number for Class C. Higher numbers are more pressure for bigger chassis.
You're in NM. Down in Deming, there's Safety-Steer. That device bolts to various parts of the suspension and steering. Uses springs and bellcranks to apply centering force. It does NOT include a Damper.
If I were going to install such a kit, S-T-P would be my choice. Shop extensively, as they're available over a wide price range. You would remove your OEM Damper AND the brackets. The S-T-P requires a bracket kit since OEM brackets don't allow the space for the larger diameter of their device compared with OEM. Gotta clear the housing over those coil springs.
