I went through the same thing as a buyer. We knew what we wanted and there are precious few on the east coast. It took us six months and we lucked into the current coach. I did not go over the top on the price though. The seller had no idea what he had, he just wanted to sell everything and move to the DR. I made him what I thought was a reasonable offer and he accepted.
