We use SAMs all of the time for our 40' DP. We do go over and walk the pump area first to see how we're going to get in and out. Usually do it either mid morning or mid afternoon when the traffic is less. I had to back out of one SAM's diesel pump one time, but the traffic was really slow, we knew it before we pulled in and it was OK with the attendant. As a note, I was surprised to find diesel and propane at two Costcos in northern AZ.
