Santa Rosa New Mexico to Deming on 54 to 26
Anyone try that route through Alamogordo instead of going to I-25 and down? Looks like less miles but if not a good road and lot's of slow down it may be slower than just staying on Interstate.

Totally agree on the Deming museum and NEW Mexican food (which is different than Mexican food in the use of a lot of green chiles).
